Where Are We?

Located near Cape Flattery at the northwest tip of the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, we enjoy some of the finest scenery in the state in addition to the fishing.  The village of Neah Bay is also the home of the Makah Indian Nation, where you can enjoy the Makah Cultural and Research Center, The Makah National Fish Hatchery, and Makah Days (late August).

From Port Angeles, choose one of two scenic routes (come up one way and return the other!):

About 5 miles west of Port Angeles is a well marked turn-off to Highway 112; follow the road about 70 miles, through Clallam Bay, a drive of approximately 1 1/2 hours.

Or, drive straight on 101 from Port Angeles 50 miles west, past Lake Crescent to Sappho, turn right on 113 to 112, through Clallam Bay, to Neah Bay, about 35 miles.  It still takes about 1 1/2 hours.

If you are driving along the Pacific Ocean coast beaches from Olympia or Aberdeen/Hoquiam, drive through Forks on Highway 101 to Sappho and turn left.

Be sure to bring your camera.  The scenery is beautiful and you may see deer, elk, eagles, and other wildlife.
